The morning had been uneventful thus far. She'd woken at the first note of sunlight breaking the reed covering to her den and set about her morning ritual of herb counting. Other then the light, silence was the only other ring that filtered into her space of residence. No other cat was up this early in these parts of the forest.
The she-cat crawled out of the only opening to her underground den and stretched happily in the warmth of the morning light. She glanced around the early vacant camp. Not a soul was locatable outside of the dens.
But that didn't stop her need for more herbs. Each morning she rotated through her stores picked a new herb so she would always have fresh ingredients should anycat fall sick. Today, she was in search of comfery.
